Zawiercie and ZAKSA Celebrate Straight-Set Wins in PlusLiga

It was a confident night for both Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, as each side claimed 3–0 victories in the 4th round of PlusLiga.

In Zawiercie, the home crowd had plenty to cheer about. The Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie swept InPost ChKS Chełm (25-21, 25-20, 25-22). Aaron Russell led the scoring for the hosts with 9 points, while Amirhossein Esfandiar (11) and Łukasz Łapszyński (9) tried to keep Chełm in the fight. The stats told the story — Zawiercie outblocked their rivals 7–2 and committed far fewer errors (17 to Chełm’s 28). Setter Miguel Tavares earned the MVP award.

Meanwhile, in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, ZAKSA finally found their rhythm. After three straight losses, Andrea Giani’s team responded on a good way, taking down JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel 3–0 (25-16, 25-23, 27-25). Kamil Rychlicki (15 points) and Igor Grobelny (13) were the top scorers, while Quinn Isaacson, named MVP. The hosts also led in blocking (6–4) and limited their own errors (19 compared to 23 from JSW).
