Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz pulled off a thrilling 3–2 home victory over BKS BOSTIK ZGO Bielsko-Biała.

The visitors started with confidence, taking the opening set 25-14 thanks to Kertu Laak’s sharp attacks and strong serve pressure. But the home team refused to back down. Backed by a loud crowd, Pałac found their rhythm — Pola Nowakowska and Élena Báka led the charge as the hosts fought back to win the next two sets, 25-21 and 25-20.
Bielsko-Biała weren’t done yet. With Agata Michalewicz stepping in as setter and Réka Bozóki-Szedmák adding firepower, the visitors dominated the fourth set 25-13, forcing a decisive tie-break.
In the final set, the tension was electric. Pałac started fast, defending bravely and keeping their focus. Dominika Witowska’s serves put BKS on the back foot, and moments later, Élena Báka smashed the winning point off the block to seal the victory 15-12 — sending the home fans into celebration.
Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz were led by Élena Báka with 19 points, while Victoria Foucher and Pola Nowakowska added 17 and 15 respectively. For Bielsko-Biała, Keru Laak stood out with 23 points, supported by Réka Bozóki-Szedmák with 19 and Aleksandra Gryka with 17.
