Gorzów looked shaky early on, but they fought back with confidence, flipped the momentum, and celebrated their first victory of the season, finally moving off the bottom of the table. Meanwhile, the struggling Częstochowa side is still waiting for a new head coach.
Patrik Indra topped the scoring with 27 points for Częstochowa, followed by Jakub Kiedos (13), Milad Ebadipour (11), Jakub Nowak (11), and Daniel Popiela (10). For Gorzów, standout performances came from Mathis Henno (20), Kamil Kwasowski (18), and Chizoba Neves (17). The visitors were clearly better in blocking and made fewer errors, 25 compared to Częstochowa’s costly 34.
MVP Mateusz Maciejewicz gave a strong boost off the bench, guiding Gorzów through their impressive comeback.
