The club said the absences are due to sudden infections accompanied by fever. Some players were unable to travel, while others began showing symptoms during the trip to Lublin.

Warsaw officials asked for the match to be postponed, but the request was denied because of the league’s tight schedule. Forfeiting the game was also ruled out, with the club stressing its commitment to fair competition.

Head coach Tommii Tiilikainen will rely on a reduced squad, including setters Jan Firlej and Michał Kozłowski, outside hitters Kevin Tillie and Brandon Koppers, and liberos Damian Wojtaszek and Maciej Olenderek. Middle blocker Jurij Semeniuk returns after recovering from illness.

The match will be played today at 8:15 p.m. local time in Lublin.
