Road teams dominated much of Round 17 in Poland’s PlusLiga, while a five-set showdown provided the weekend’s biggest drama.

Play opened Friday with Ślepsk Malow Suwałki taking a 3–1 home win over Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa. Later, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie cruised to a straight-sets victory at InPost ChKS Chełm.
Saturday brought one of the round’s most surprising results as Bogdanka LUK Lublin swept PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów on the road, silencing the home crowd with a controlled three-set performance.
The headline match lived up to expectations. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle outlasted JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel 3–2, closing a tense tie-break 19–17 to claim a valuable away win.
In the lower part of the table, Cuprum Stilon Gorzów earned three points with a straight-sets victory over Barkom Każany Lwów.
