POL M: Projekt Warszawa and Trefl Gdańsk Claim 3–1 Victories in PlusLiga Round 23

PGE Projekt Warszawa returned to winning ways with a 3–1 victory over Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa in Round 23 of the PlusLiga, strengthening their hold on second place in the standings. After dropping the opening set 20:25, the hosts responded confidently, taking the next three 25:22, 25:22, 25:19 to secure all three points.

Bartosz Gomułka led Projekt with 18 points, while Kevin Tillie added 17 and was named MVP. The French outside hitter recorded 13 kills at 36% efficiency, along with one ace, three blocks, and 47% positive reception. Bartosz Bednorz contributed 16 points. For Częstochowa, Milad Ebadipour scored 19, supported by Bartłomiej Lipiński (17) and Patrik Indra (14). The visitors remain bottom of the table, four points behind the nearest rivals.

In Gdańsk, Energa Trefl defeated InPost ChKS Chełm 3–1 to move up to sixth place. The hosts won 25:21, dropped a tight second set 26:28, and then closed the match 25:19, 25:14.

Tobias Brand led Trefl with 19 points, while Aliaksei Nasevich scored 16 and earned MVP honors after attacking at 56% efficiency (13/23), adding one ace and two blocks. Amirhossein Esfandiar paced Chełm with 21 points, with Remigiusz Kapica adding 19, but the visitors could not prevent defeat as they continue their fight to stay in the league.
