POL M: Regular Season Ends, Play-Off Race Ready to Begin

The 2025/2026 PlusLiga regular season has officially wrapped up, setting the stage for the long-awaited play-offs. After 26 rounds, the league’s top eight teams are now preparing to compete for the Polish championship.

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie finished at the top of the table with 61 points and 21 wins, confirming their status as one of the strongest sides this season. They will be joined in the play-offs by PGE Projekt Warszawa, Bogdanka LUK Lublin, Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów, Jastrzębski Węgiel, and ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

Defending champions Bogdanka LUK Lublin, coached by Stéphane Antiga, remain among the main contenders as they look to hold onto their title.

Quarter-final pairings:

The quarter-finals will be played in a best-of-three format. The first matches are scheduled for March 27–29, with higher-ranked teams hosting. Return fixtures will follow in early April, and if needed, decisive third matches will take place shortly after.

The semi-finals are planned for April and will also be decided over two wins. Matches for fifth place will run at the same time, while the medal rounds will be played in a best-of-five series. The Polish champion will be crowned by May 13 at the latest.

  8. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle – 40 pts (12–14)

At the bottom of the standings, Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa finished last and has been relegated after three seasons in the top division.
