PGE Projekt Warszawa made a strong start to the PlusLiga playoffs, defeating JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel 3:0 in the first quarterfinal match.
The home side controlled the game from start to finish, winning 25:21, 25:22, 25:19 to take a 1–0 lead in the best-of-three series.
Bartosz Bednorz led the way with 19 points and earned MVP honors, supported by Kevin Tillie (14 points). Jastrzębski Węgiel struggled to find consistency despite efforts from Michał Gierżot (11 pts) and Łukasz Kaczmarek (9 pts). The second match will take place on April 4.
