In a closely fought contest, Zawiercie edged the key moments of the match, taking three of four competitive sets. After splitting the first two, the visitors showed greater composure late in the third and fourth sets to secure the victory.
Aaron Russell led the scoring with 20 points, while Bartosz Kwolek added 18 and was named MVP. Bartłomiej Bołądź chipped in with 13 points. For ZAKSA, Kamil Rychlicki and Jakub Szymański scored 16 each.
The deciding third match will be played on April 9 in Sosnowiec.
