Bogdanka LUK Lublin claimed a valuable away victory over PGE Projekt Warszawa, winning 3–1 in the opening PlusLiga semifinal clash at Torwar Arena.

The hosts opened strongly, taking a tight first set 27–25, but Lublin quickly turned the tide. The visitors dominated the second set 25–14 and held their nerve in two close finishes, winning 26–24 and 25–22 to secure the match.
Wilfredo Leon led all scorers with 25 points, while Mateusz Malinowski added 17 and earned MVP honors, contributing five aces and a block. For Warsaw, Bartosz Bednorz scored 20 points, with Bartosz Gomułka and Kevin Tillie adding 17 and 15 respectively.
Despite even attacking efficiency, Lublin’s superiority on serve and fewer errors proved decisive. The series now moves to Lublin, where the hosts can seal a place in the final in the second match on April 18.
