In an interview for Polish media, Italian coach revealed that there were several other offers:
“I had offers from some national teams. But, I must admit that it would be difficult for me to lead some nation at the World Championship in Poland. I did not want that, because my memories with Polish national team are still fresh. I would feel bad…” said Anastasi.
