POL M: Trefl not satisfied with Plusliga concept, requests Final Four!

This season, due to a very busy calendar of games, after the end of regular phase in which 14 teams will take part, there will be a clash for medals immediately. The teams will compete for the 1st and 3rd place, needing three victories to win the gold or bronze medal.

Officially the second best team in Polish league, Lotos Trefl Gdańsk, requests the Final Four tournament at the end of regular phase instead of adopted concept, emphasizing that it should be held in some modern hall and that it will attract thousands of fans.

Recall, PlusLiga format had to be changed due to the qualifiers for the Olympic Games, to be held in January and May.
