It was all tied, 1-1 in sets and 24:24 in the third one. Slovenia scored a point and went in front at 25:24! It was a huge chance for them to take the third set and gain psychological advantage over the rival… But, Poland tied the score at 25:25, then scored another one for 26:25! The white and reds did not use that set ball, but they did use the following one and closed the set with 28:26, 2-1 for Poland.
The game was not officially over, but it was for Slovenia. This team could not recover from that tough loss in the third set and Poland simply dominated the fourth one – 25:13.
Mateusz Mika was the man of the match as he made 21 points for the winning side. He had a huge help from Bartosz Kurek who added 18 points. On the other side, Klemen Čebulj was the leader of Slovenia with 18 points, while Mitja Gasparini made 16.
