Three years have passed since Katarzyna Skorupa played her last match for Poland. She has been out of the national team ever since due to various reasons – health problems, personal decisions… Still, Polish media have always doubted that there was some other reason.
Finally, Katarzyna Skorupa was left out of the wide roster for the European Olympic Qualifier, despite she is having a fantastic season in Fenerbahce. Head coach of Poland Jacek Nawrocki decided to call Izabela Belcik and Joanna Wolosz…
Sportowefakty.pl contacted Skorupa to ask her about this subject and they got a simple answer: “I am done with the national team” said experienced setter without giving any explanation for her decision.
