Belgium have played the first match at the Olympic qualifying tournament and they managed to record 3-1 win against Poland 25-19, 16-25, 27-25, 25-18.
The dream about going to Rio has probably ended for Polish girls. They suffered another defeat at the Olympic qualifying tournament…
After two sets, the result was 1:1. The third set was decisive one. Poland were leading almost whole time, but Belgium managed to make turn around and to win the set. In the fourth set, Polish girls simply surrendered.
Belgium didn’t have a player with double digits, but had three players with 9 points each – Heyrman, Leys, Aelbrecht. On the other side, Werblinska had 16 points.
