PGE Atom Trefl Sopot destroyed Impel Wrocław in a decisive, third, game of playoff semifinals of the Polish Championship 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-18) to win series 2-1. In the same time, unlike previous two games, it was the only game in series deprived of drama of any kind.
Thus, Trefl scheduled rerun od the last season’s playoff finals. Back then, Chemik Police prevailed.
Trefl’s Katarzyna Zaroślińska scored game-high 19 points and was announced MVP. Italian Carolina Costagrande had 15 in Impel.
