Belchatow vs. Gdansk
It’s not the Playoffs Finals, but PGE Skra Belchatow have showed that they want to play at high level until the very end, regardless of the fact that they cannot win the title anymore. The boys coached by Philippe Blain have totally outplayed Lotos Trefl Gdansk in first chapter of the battle for the bronze.
Mariusz Wlazly dominated the Game 1 with 19 points, while this match will also stay remembered by the return of Michal Winiarski! The experienced Polish player came in as a substitute in the first set and therefore returned to volleyball after several months. Recall that Winiarski missed the most of this season due to back injury.
The first team which gets to 3 wins will win the series.
