Junior European Championship
Recall that Russia is a defending champion. In yesterday’s game Russia won 3:2. Today Poland was better and won 3:0 (25:19, 25:15, 25:15).
Maciej Zendel, assistan coach said: “We played a lot better today, and coach Nawrocki is very satisfied. We had great attack and defense, a good block. We musn’t get ahead of ourselves, but this was one of our best games in recent years.“
Group matches of the Junior European Championship form men will be held in Gdynia and Randers.
Group I (Gdynia): Russia, Poland, Serbia, Belgium, Italy, Finland
Group II (Randers): Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Germany
