Antonin Rouzier, the opposite hitter of France National Team and also the best scorer of his team in the match against Serbia in the last round of the 2016 FIVB World League Final Six in Kraków, was not too happy after qualifying to the semifinal.

There is a legitimate reason for this kind of feeling of Rouzier – the tragedy that struck the city of Nice, yesterday, when a truck driver killed 84 people in a terrorist attack.

“It was a difficult game. Firstly, because of what happened in Nice, yesterday. We had to play this match and we did it but it was horrible. I can’t understand this kind of thing… so difficult… We played and we won so, now we will have to think about volleyball, not about this and just stay together. We will see what will happen in semifinal. But, I’m thinking about it (what happened in Nice) all day…” Rouzier said.

About the game…

“We are specialists to win 3-2. I don’t know what happened after 2-0 in sets. Maybe this break (10-minute break after second set)… Afterwards, the match wasn’t same,” French opposite stated.
