Bruno Rezende, the setter of Brazil National Team, is always a good choice to take a statement from because he gives a pretty deep analysis of the match. So it was after the game versus France in the semifinal of the 2016 FIVB World League F6.

“We were playing against one of the best teams in the world and one of the favorites for the medal at the Olympic Games. We knew they are very strong team in the serve and that they defend well but we kept pushing forward. We played the first set very well, committed some mistakes, but after that we were always down in the score. It’s not easy to play against France when you’re down in the score. But it shows we’re the team that never gives up and it’s one of our qualities,” ‘Bruninho’ said to our reporter.

A few words about opponents in the final, Serbia

“I think Serbia is the team who is playing the best volleyball in the World League. They beat us in Belgrade. It will be a very difficult match but we really want to win this game. We must focus to try to serve well because it’s very important to serve well against the team with such a good middle blockers,” Brazil‘s setter concluded.
