Olsztyn, the hit of the 2017/18 PlusLiga, has beaten another title contenders. After they downed PGE Skra Bełchatów in Round 5, they outclassed the bronze medalists and last season’s national championship hit Jastrzębski Węgiel by a 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 31-29) to remain only on one PlusLiga defeat, so far!
The Czech opposite Jan Hadrava did not fail once again as he earned the MVP of the match award by making 18 points and 55% attack for Olsztyn, whose players perform as reborn with the arrival of an Italian expert Roberto Santilli at the beginning of the season.
In Jastrzębski, who are showing display which is not even close to the one from the last season, Maciej Muzaj notched 23 points as the only player with double digits.
