35-year-old universal Polish representative Piotr Gruszka on Monday was training with the team Indykpol AZS Olsztyn. This year’s season he did not find a place in any of the Polish clubs and is a free agent. Before he played for CMC Ravenna, in Italian Serie A1.
It is one of the most successful Polish volleyball players: more than 400 times played for the Polish national team. He is the European champion in 2009, where he won an award for the most valuable player and silver medalist of the World Championships in 2006.
Indykpol AZS Olsztyn will play on Friday in Gdansk with Lotos Trefl. “Technically, it is possible to approve the player even on the day of the meeting” said the Chief Commissioner of Professional Volleyball League S.A. Cezary Matusiak.
