Olsztyn-vs-Zaksa
Zaksa’s invincibility in the matches against Olsztyn has extended to three years (from March 7th, 2015). PlusLiga two-time defending champions broke a 3-game losing streak, including all competitions in which they compete, and made Olsztyn’s intentions to qualify for the Final Six more difficult. Olsztyn dropped a 5-point lead in the second set and got ran over in the first and the third set – 25-17, 25-22, 25-15.
The Belgian Sam Deroo topped Zaksa with 16 points (4 kill blocks) while Łukasz Wiśniewski also made 4 kill blocks for the winning side (10 points).
The MVP display of Maciej Muzaj (20 points, 3 aces, 2 kill blocks, 71% attack) led Jastrzębski Węgiel to a straight-set win against Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie, which settled the team at No.6. Interestingly, the teams from the fourth to the sixth position in the standings are leveled in points.
