Trefl Gdańsk isolated themselves at No.4 in the Plus Liga standings with a 17-6 record (46 points) as they easily defeated home side of Espadon Szczecin by a 3-0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-21) in the opening of Round 23. At the same time, Espadon lost 9th consecutive game and remained eleventh-placed (7-16; 25 points)
Damian Schulz topped Trefl with 15 points, while Piotr Nowakowski made 4 kill blocks. Bartłomiej Kluth scored 11 points for the losing side.
