Yury, after two rounds of the Super League, Dinamo Krasnodar owns six full points. Not a bad start for the team championship, isn’t it?
“I agree. I also think that the Dinamo Krasnodar is confident enough in the Super League. It is always hard to play in Siberia. I remember how Zenit Kazan went to Surgut or in Kemerovo, there has never been simple and an easy matches. It’s great that we were able to beat Gazprom-Yugra (Surgut district) and Kuzbass (Kemerovo), a completely new team for a very good start.”
Dinamo Krasnodar for you is a new team, why did you chose this club after the contract ended with Zenit Kazan?
“They formed a new strong team, I got a call, they said that they wanted to make a strong team – contender for a medal. They asked me if I am interested for an offer or not. Nothing extraordinary in my decision, because I really wanted to play. Spend another season on the bench? I realized that for the Russian Super League second season on the bench means only one thing: you will be absolutely with no use to anyone.” said Berezhko.
