RUS W: Hot ’Dinamo-derby’ ends in tie-break – Kazan side leaves Muscovites at 9 points in one set

Dinamo-Ak Bars (Dinamo-Kazan) prevailed over Dinamo Moscow in an intense derby of Round 4 of the 2021/22 Russian Women’s Volleyball Championship.

The famous ’Dinamo-derby’ of the Russian women’s club volleyball had another edition, very hot, valid for the fourth round opening of the 2021/22 Women’s Superliga Parimatch. Dinamo-Kazan prevailed in five sets and after coming back twice to the match (0-1 and 1-2).

It was quite a strange game in which Dinamo-Kazan managed to stop rivals at single digits in as many as two sets: in the first (25-9) and the last (15-7). Angelina Lazarenko and Tatyana Kadochkina top-scored the winning side with 20 points apiece. The former set up seven blocks.
