RUS M: Highlights from the 23rd Round of the Russian Men’s SuperLiga

The 23rd round of the Russian Men’s SuperLiga unfolded with all eight matches delivering intense action. Yenisey Krasnoyarsk secured a clean 3-0 victory against Neftyanik Orenburg. Kuzbass Kemerovo battled Nova Novokuybyshevsk to a 3-1 win, despite missing some key players (Dusan Petkovic, Inal Tavasiev…) due to health issues. Gazprom Yugra Surgut was overtaken by Shakhtior Soligorsk with a 1-3 score.

Fakel Novy Urengoy faced a tough challenge against Dinamo Moscow, ending in a 0-3 loss, highlighting also the impact of missing key players on team performance. Ural Ufa and Yugra-Samotlor displayed a nail-biting encounter, with Yugra-Samotlor coming out on top 3-1 after a marathon third set. Other matches included Belogorie overcoming Zenit St. Petersburg 3-2 in a close-fought battle, ASK falling 0-3 to Zenit Kazan, and Dynamo-LO losing 0-3 to Lokomotiv Novosibirsk.
