Zenit-Kazan volleyball team continued their winning streak, securing their seventh consecutive victory over Dynamo Moscow by claiming the 2024 Russian Super Cup with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-23) win. The match, dedicated to the memory of 1960 world champion N.Sh. Fasakhov, took place in Kazan.
Zenit’s strong defense and dominant blocking were key in the first two sets, while Belgian player Sam Deroo, who had just arrived on match day, made a critical contribution in the third set, helping to secure victory.
Zenit-Kazan, the reigning champions of both the Russian Championship and National Cup, celebrated their 10th Super Cup win in history, with hopes of more titles this season.
