From the start, Zenit Kazan controlled the game, excelling in both serves and attacks. Their efficiency in the first set (50% success rate) outclassed Kuzbass’s 32%. Dmitry Volkov’s key plays and Roman Romanovsky’s ace extended Zenit’s lead. Despite a late surge by Kuzbass, led by captain Roman Pakshin, Zenit held firm to take the first set 25-23.

In the second set, Zenit’s aggressive serves, including aces from Kirill Klets and Mikhail Labinskii, widened the gap to 17-7, ultimately sealing the set 25-16. Kuzbass struggled to recover, hindered by their own errors.

The third set followed a similar pattern, with Zenit dominating from the outset. Strong blocks and consistent attacks from Volkov and Labinskii kept the pressure on Kuzbass. Zenit closed the match 25-14, claiming a comfortable victory.
