Lokomotiv Too Strong for Dynamo-LO (3–0)

In Sosnovy Bor, Lokomotiv overpowered Dynamo-LO 3–0 (29–27, 25–23, 25–18) in a fast-paced match.

The first set was neck and neck until Dmitriy Lyzik sealed it with a powerful ace. Dynamo-LO fought hard in the second, even taking an early lead, but Lokomotiv’s solid blocking and calm play in key moments turned things around. The visitors stayed in control in the final set, finishing the match with confidence.

Lokomotiv coach Plamen Konstantinov said:

“The score doesn’t tell the full story — both teams played well. I’m happy with our focus and energy.”

In Yaroslavl, Orenburg came from behind to defeat Yaroslavich 3–1 (18–25, 25–19, 25–18, 25–20).

After a shaky start, Orenburg settled into rhythm, led by captain Ilnur Rakhmatullin, who scored 15 points.

Rakhmatullin explained:

“We struggled early, but once we found our serve and block, the game turned our way.”
