Dynamo dominated the first two sets (25–15, 25–23) before Kuzbass fought back in the third (25–22). However, the hosts quickly regained rhythm to close the match 25–18.

Maksim Sapozhkov led Dynamo with 20 points, including three aces and four blocks, while Yaroslav Podlesnykh and Nikita Zudin added 12 points each. Dynamo’s solid defense and blocking (12–5) proved decisive.

“We tried to use players with less matches played. It worked for a while, but mistakes in the third set forced us to bring back the main lineup,” Bryansky said.

Kuzbass coach Sergey Trotsky admitted Dynamo’s superiority:

“We can compete with their reserves, but once their main team plays, it’s tough to keep up.”
