In Tolyatti, Nova hosted Dynamo Moscow in a match that became one of the most compelling encounters of the round. Backed by a full arena, Nova opened with a hard-fought 32-30 set and later forced a tie-break after taking the fourth. Despite the hosts’ resilience and emotional performance, Dynamo demonstrated greater stability in the key rallies of the fifth set, ultimately securing a 3-2 victory.

In Orenburg, Orenburzhe and Belogorie produced another high-pressure match, featuring extended rallies and several exchanges of set points. The opening set concluded at 39-37, setting the tone for an evening of tight competition. Although Orenburzhe repeatedly managed to level the score and challenge the visitors, Belogorie maintained composure in decisive moments and claimed a 3-1 win.

In other matches, three teams achieved confident straight-set victories. Gazprom-Yugra overpowered Fakel Yamal, relying on strong serving pressure and disciplined defense. Yenisey Krasnoyarsk controlled its match against MGTU, capitalizing on the hosts’ early errors and sustaining momentum throughout. Zenit Saint Petersburg also delivered a solid 3-0 performance against Dynamo-Ural.
