The Russian Men’s SuperLiga resumed this week with Round 11.
Belogorie opened the round with a 3–1 victory over Kuzbass Kemerovo, while Dynamo Moscow swept Yenisey 3–0 behind a 22-point performance from Maksim Sapozhkov.
Lokomotiv Novosibirsk edged Gorky 3–1 in a tight match that included a dramatic fourth set, where Gorky erased four match points before Lokomotiv closed out the frame 28–26.
On Saturday, Dynamo-LO defeated Dynamo-Ural 3–1, led by 23 points from Osniel Melgarejo.
The championship features 16 teams playing a 30-round double round-robin. The top four will advance directly to the quarterfinals, while teams ranked 5th through 12th enter an additional playoff stage.
More matches, including Zenit St. Petersburg vs. Zenit-Kazan, are set for later today.
