BIG TALK: Spiridonov – “I would rather punch that guy…”

Spiridonov

Spiridonov

Russian player stated that he had a wrong picture about the Poles…

When we were playing games Polish fans were shouting all sorts of nasty things to us. I have always thought that Poles are normal people. When I was there with Ural I had no problems. But, now I have realized they are one rotten nation.”

Spiridonov then repeated once again that he has never spat on any fan.

“Of course I haven’t spat on anyone. It is nonsense! I would rather punch that guy in the middle of the face, than to spit on him! And now they want to punish me because some Polish fan claims that I spit on him? It is ridiculous!”

Also, he explained his Tweet in which he referred to Poles as “Pszeki” (expression which mock Polish language, hissing while talking).

Yes, I wrote that but my intention was not to offend them. It was referring to their dissatisfaction by the draw. Anyway, they call us Russian dogs! Is that not so offensive as Pszeki? But, as Mayakovsky wrote “Snake people – snake tongue”. So we can say that I quoted classics” stated Spiridonov.
