RUS M: World League bronze medalist strengthens Ural

A 31-year-old player sealed a deal with Ural for one year. Kalinin spent entire pre-season campaign with Ural and was part of the team in the Victory Cup matches.

The last club of Kalinin was the Dinamo Krasnodar whose colors he defended in previous two seasons.

On a club level, Kalinin is a four-time runner-up and bronze medalist in Russian league, the title holder of the CEV Cup, bronze medalist of the CEV Champions League and the CEV Challenge Cup.

With the Russia’s national team, he won gold medal at the 2009 Universiade and bronze at the 2009 FIVB World League.
