Someone simply have to be responsible for that failure, and it seems that head coach Yuri Marichev will pay the ultimate price. According to Bruno Voloch, Marichev will most certainly be sacked from the position of head coach.
The Russian Volleyball Federation still hasn’t announced anything regarding this case, but Voloch writes that the federation officials have already started looking for a new head coach.
