Zenit Kazan announced that they signed a new contract with Alexandr Gutsalyuk which will expire at the end of the 2017/18 season. Therefore, the Russian middle blocker will continue playing for the best European team, with which he has already won plenty of trophies.
For the 4 years spent in Kazan, Gutsalyuk has won 4 CEV Champions Leagues, 4 Russian Championships, 3 Russian Cups and 3 Russian Supercups.
Also, he has become the player with the most CEV Champions League trophies.
