Russia became the only national team in the Yeltsin Cup with 2-0 as they beat Turkish NT after losing the first set 3-1 (20-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-22).
Russian ladies will play their next match in the tournament against Bulgaria, who recovered from suffering a defeat to Serbia in the first match and downed Kazakhstan in straight sets, on June 29.

Turkey – Russia 1-3 (25-20, 18-25, 22-25, 22-25)
Kazakhstan – Bulgaria 1-3 (14-25, 20-25, 25-19, 27-29)
