“I will say this – I am here for the second season just because of Edik. I did it for him. He asked me to stay in Krasnoyarsk. I had good deals from other clubs, there was an offer from Belogorie, however, I decided to refuse it because of Enisey. I am not talking about financial issues. I stayed here because it was my promise. If I had left Yenisey, they would have been in trouble now,” says Spiridonov.
He also had an offer to be the captain for this season, but…
“I refused it. I do not like to talk, I prefer to work. Maybe during the match, I share my opinion but outside the court, I keep it for myself. I do not like coaching job, It’s not for me. The club also owes me money for the last season, but I am not doing anything about it…,” explains Spiridonov.
