The fourth-placed Dinamo Moscow recovered from being two sets down against Kuzbass Kemerovo, making their way to the playoffs much harder in the rest of the season, 3-2 (15-25, 23-25, 27-25, 25-23, 15-12). Dinamo prevailed in kill blocks (15-10) while Kuzbass were superior in service (11-1).
Individually, Pavel Kruglov topped Dinamo with 29 points (4 kill blocks) while Dmitriy Shcherbinin contributed with 7 kill blocks (12 points). As for Kuzbass, Viktor Poletaev tallied 26 points (7 aces!).
Belogorie Belgorod made a comeback from 1-2 against Fakel Novy Urengoy in the big match to stay at No.2, increasing the gap compared to the third-placed Fakel.
