In their second matches, Dinamo defeated Leningradka in the tie-break although the home team led 2-0 in sets. The match was finished for the titleholders with 3-2 (21-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-11, 15-6).
In the second match of the quarterfinal playoff, Uralochka crushed Zarechie Odintsovo in straight sets (25-19, 25-21, 25-17) and with clear two wins moved on. Same as Enisey who defeated Proton Saratov with 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 25-12, 26-24).
In two days Dinamo Kazan will for the third time face Sakhalin since the result in the series is 1-1.
