So, in 2015, a major task of the Serbian Volleyball Federation will be to choose a new head coach. There are many candidates and many worldwide famous coaches that would like to sit on the Serbian bench.
Recently, the WoV fans voted the Italian Alberto Giuliani as the best solution. Aleksandar Boričić, the President of Serbian VF and FIVB Executive Vice-President does not like the idea of a foreign coach.
“We are looking for the best solution. If any foreigner comes, he would not fit in our thoughts, regardless of quality. I don’t want to talk about the names, but I would say that we have always kept the direction that cooperation with domestic coaches is absolutely correct. Instead to give a lot of money to the foreign coach, it’s better to relocate these resources on youth teams and our coaches”, said Boričić to zurnal.rs.
Serbian reporter wanted from Boričić to be clear – So, the choice will obviously be the domestic coach?
“If it’s not a foreigner, then there’s no any third!” said Boričić.
