Novi Pazar, who went step by step from low ranks to the top division in Serbia in the last few years, fight for the national title this season.
By beating Mladi radnik Požarevac 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-22), in a postponed Round 11 game of Superliga, Novi Pazar kept breathing down the neck of the defending champs Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad, who lead the standings, having an 11-1 record and four points less.
Irfan Hamzagić topped Novi Pazar with 16 points, while Boris Buša made 10 for the third-placed Mladi radnik.
