In Game 1 of the 2017/18 Superliga playoff finals, the top-seed Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad did not leave a single set to No.2 Novi Pazar at home, 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-19).
A 21-year-old outside hitter David Mehić and Ukrainian opposite Vitaliy Sukhinin topped Vojvodina with 17 points apiece. In case of Sukhinin, 3 aces and 2 kill blocks were included in his output.
Irfan Hamzagić scored 17 points as the only player in Novi Pazar with double digits.
Game 2 of the best-of-five finals will also be played at Vojvodina’s home court.
