The second day of 2020 South American Women’s Volleyball Club Championship in Uberlândia, Brazil, was marked with victories of Brazilian teams.

Defending champions Itambé/Minas debuted at the 2020 Sudamericano de Clubes femenino with a positive result against the Bolivian side Universidad Católica de Boliviana: 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-14). Minas opposite hitter Bruna Honório was chosen as the best player on the court.

Prior to this match, the hosts Dentil/Praia Clube once again delighted their fans at the Arena Sabiazinho, achieving another straight-set win, this time over Argentinean rivals San Lorenzo. Praia middle blocker Ana Carolina Silva Carol was named MVP of the match.
