Sesi Bauru claimed an easy victory over Olympic from Bolivia, while Regatas Lima secured their spot in an exhilarating tie-break match. Gerdau Minas finished the round with a perfect record, surpassing Uruguay’s Juan Ferreira, and now sets their sights on the final against Peruvian team Regatas Lima in the first semifinal. Dentil Praia Clube, having enjoyed a rest in the round, occupies the top spot in the group and will face Sesi Bauru in the second semifinal.

The day kicked off with the Group A match between Sesi Bauru and Olympic. Both teams entered the final day tied in the standings with one defeat each, making this match crucial for semifinal qualification. The Brazilian team demonstrated their favoritism by convincingly winning 3-0 (25-11, 25-6, 25-12), securing their place in the next phase.

In the second encounter, Peruvian team Regatas Lima faced off against Chilean team Club Boston College in a battle for the second spot in Group A. The host team Dentil Praia Clube had already secured the first place. It was an intense and closely fought match, with Regatas Lima ultimately prevailing 3-2 (23-25, 23-25, 25-13, 25-14, 17-15).

In the final match of the group stage, Gerdau Minas, already qualified for the semifinals, faced Uruguay’s Juan Ferreira, who had already been eliminated from the competition. Gerdau Minas had no trouble finding their rhythm and won the match in straight sets with scores of 25-8, 25-19, 25-4.

The teams that secured their places in the semifinals are Dentil Praia Clube and Regatas Lima from Group A, and Gerdau Minas and Sesi Bauru from Group B. They will return to the court not only to compete for a spot in the tournament’s final but also to secure a place in this year’s Club World Championship.
