On the competition’s second day, both teams showcased their prowess, maintaining their 100% success rate from the first round.
Farma Conde, led by head coach Carlos Schwanke, opened the day’s events with a commanding 3-0 win over the Policía Voley, clocking in at 1 hour and 23 minutes of gameplay. Douglas Souza led the charge for Farma Conde Vôlei São José, contributing a 20 points to the victory. Their triumph ensured them a place in the competition’s semifinals as the first qualifying team.
On the other side, defending champion Sada Cruzeiro faced off against Argentine debutant Monteros Vóley, sweeping them with a 3-0 victory. Wallace starred for Sada Cruzeiro, amassing 14 points, which propelled his team into the semifinals.
Additionally, Argentina’s Ciudad Voley marked their debut with a win against Peerlees, a nine-time Peruvian League champion, setting the stage for a competitive group positioning match against Apan/Roll-on.
