Galatasaray-IBBSK
In Istanbul derby, Galatasaray beat İstanbul BBSK by a 3-1 (30-28, 25-19, 18-25, 25-15), to keep top position in the Efeler Ligi standings. Oliver Venno was the top scorer with 29 points (3 aces). Metin Toy had 24 and Gokhan Gokgoz added 18 points for Istanbul BBSK.
Fenerbahce crisis continues in the Turkish men’s volleyball league! They recorded another defeat in the league, 4th in total! Fenerbahce now have the 5-1 score and it is enough for the 10th place right now. Fenerbahce lost their match with Arkas Spor 0:3 (19-25, 26-28, 22-25).
Wouter Ter Mat was the top scorer in Fenerbahce with 21 points, while Adis Lagumdzija and Robert Taht led Arkas. Lagumdzija had 21 and Taht added 19 points for Arkas.
Jeopark Kula Bld, club which came out of the competition for financial problems, should continue the championship in the next round based on the latest information from Turkey.
