Game was full of turnarounds, Turkey had a slow start and didn’t respond well to Iran’s service and gave up the 0-1 lead quite easily 19-25. Then boys in red stomped Iran in next two sets. Blowing up wholes in defence of the Asians, hosts got the lead 2-1 (25-19, 25-22). But then like something happened to Turkey, they ran out of gas and weren’t looking like themselves. Iran slowly kept their lead and surprisingly easy won the game 2-3 (21-25, 12-25).
This was the last chance for Turkish team to test their level of preparation since they will soon travel to Denmark and Poland to EuroVolley.
