Eczacibasi team
By adding to last Wednesday’s victory in Poland also the games of the prelims, Eczacibasi has an impressive winning streak of seven straight matches in the CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League.
“Atom Trefl SOPOT is a very good team” stresses Eczacibasi mentor Lorenzo Micelli. “The result of the first game does not count at all as you play at this stage of the competition and even though we got a 3:0 there, it shall not be seen as an easy victory for us. The players of Atom Trefl never give up and have the power to stand any opponent. We now have to focus on the second match.”
“We will play once more against a very good team” adds Eczacibasi team captain Esra Gümüs Kirici. “After this first round we got to know and study each other very well. The only target for us is to win also the second game here in Istanbul and I am confident that in the end we will achieve this goal.”
